Dress – Reitmans // Shoes – Le Chateau // Bag – Penney & Co.
I don’t often gravitate towards dresses with this length of a hemline often, but I’m so glad I decided to go for it because I love this dress. I wasn’t sure how the length would look on me since I’m so short, and sometimes I have a difficult time with midi-length dresses and skirts. When I first saw this dress it online I fell in love with it, but once I tried it on I took it home with me!
It’s such an easy, casual dress that I feel relaxed just wearing it! I love that it has a bit of a ruffle detail, and the tie up belt gives me a bit more shape in the dress.
Paired the dress with these little peep toe booties it’s a little more dressed up, but I’ve been thinking about how fun this dress would look with a long vest and some layered jewelry to go with it!
I have a lot happening this week including my son’s birthday! At first we thought we could have a small gathering on his actual birthday and celebrate with family later in the week, but he’s announced many times that he can’t wait for his birthday, so we put together a little something on the actual day.
Not only am I now having a party, but I also need to make a cake, and I need to make 30 cupcakes and treat bags for his class as well. I don’t think I’ll be getting a lot of sleep this week.
Once we get to the long weekend we are taking him away to Niagara Falls for a night to celebrate as well since it’s one of his favorite places. He calls it “Mountain Falls” for some reason, but I don’t correct him since it’s cute.
Hope your week involves a lot less baking than mine is going to!
Items in this post may have been provided to me for review, but all opinions are fabulously my own.
