After spending the summer trying NOT to adhere to a schedule and going with the flow, getting back in to the groove of school can seem downright painful! The only saving grace for me is that it’s my son’s second year of school (he’s heading into Senior Kindergarten this year) so I have a better grip on what I need when it comes to the essentials.
I headed to Winners to pick up some of the the things we needed to get through the school year, and everything I purchased was so much less than regular retail prices elsewhere.
First up – my son’s tupperware. We have tried everything from metal tupperware to bento boxes, but our family’s favourite so far have been the brand systema. They come in all kinds of configurations, and they are double the price anywhere else I’ve seen them but Winners!
I always have my son make sure he can open them up and take them apart before heading to school, so we picked up a few more great pieces for his lunches this year for him to try out.
My son chose a backpack and matching lunch bag from Winners as well – together they were both under $20! I love letting him pick his own gear because he will be that much more excited to wear it.
We also grabbed some books to brush up even more on his summer reading so he’s ready for school. I love that so many classic books end up Winners. I’ve been buying books from Winners for my son since before he was born – it’s the best place to pick them up!
There’s no way you can go to Winners without shopping the clothes! I spend more time than I’d like to admit on shopping for my son’s wardrobe, and I’m always at Winners. They have the best Ralph Lauren selection with amazing prices. I LOVE this new Nike jacket I picked up for him – it was only $29.99!
