Over the weekend, I had the chance to visit the Holiday MRKT at Scarborough Town Centre, and I can’t wait to share with you all of the fun holiday gifts I spotted!
Featuring 30+ local artisans, the STC Holiday MRKT is open to the public from December 1st to 24th. With its beautifully decorated archways, and marquee sign reminiscent of an outdoor market, the Holiday MRKT is a must-see for everyone this Christmas season.
Start off your visit at the coat and parcel check located right beside the Holiday MRKT for your shopping convenience. Then head off to the wine tasting booth showcasing red and white Ontario labels such as Jackson Triggs, Inniskilin, and many more!
During my visit, we got a chance to participate in a floral crown workshop with Blossom Moments; and we made gold leaf crowns to get us in the festive spirit before shopping!
One of the things I loved about the STC Holiday MRKT is how most of the items are already wrapped by each artisan in their own cute packaging, so they are ready to place under your tree.
For other items that are not gift wrapped or for anything else you pick up in the mall, American Express Cobalt has a complimentary gift wrapping station inside the MRKT! I saw the final wrapping products as I was leaving the market and I was impressed!
What else will you find in the market? Well, there’s definitely something for everyone!
For foodies, you can shop from The Sugared Teacup, Chocollata, Afya Jema Cakery, or Papabubble. Flower Lovers will fall in love with Opening Night Flowers, and Blossom Moments.
For someone who needs some pampering there is The Face Shop and Bubblicious.
One of my favourites is Sonic Bloom– um, I think everyone needs one of these dinosaurs! I am picking one up not only for myself, but another person who I think would adore them.
The STC Holiday MRKT has something for everyone on your list, so if you are having a hard time choosing something for a particular person on your shopping list I would suggest stopping in to shop!
