After a long weekend of fun, we ended it with one sick kid who’s still on the mend! Life sort of comes to a halt when that happens, so I’m trying to make sure he gets enough rest and I’m trying to get as much as I can done from home. He goes through bursts of energy and then he’s back to feeling sick which is sort of hard to wrap my head around!
I was lucky enough to have not one, but two date nights this weekend which doesn’t happen often! Well, one of them was Valentine’s Day and my son insisted on joining us, but I bought him a new book to entertain him at dinner so it really still seemed like a date night.
Basically what I’m trying to say is that we ate A LOT last weekend and I loved every second of it! We wanted to see Parasite (it’s back in theatres), but we decided going out to dinner was more important so the only movie we caught last weekend was Sonic the Hedgehog which was (believe it or not) pretty funny. I’m just happy with popcorn to be honest. Also, did you know you can order popcorn through Uber Eats now? It’s life changing!
Speaking of which, I’m off to the store to grab a snack to catch up with my reality TV. Just a regular boring Tuesday night! Next week I’m in the Bahamas so I’m sticking close to home as much as possible. At least that’s what I’m telling myself!
