I saw one of these cute Dash Mini Bunny Waffle Makers before Valentine’s Day (they made little heart waffles) but they were already sold out, and when an add popped up on Facebook for the Easter one I grabbed it! At only $20 I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try it out, and it actually ended up being pretty cool!
If you are interested in one for yourself you can find it at Target in the US here or at Bed Bath and Beyond in Canada here.
It came with a great little recipe book that’s surprisingly good, and the waffle maker itself warms up quickly, it’s non-stick, and is super easy to use. I tested it out on the weekend, and the boys ate up this little impromptu pancake charcuterie board pretty quickly!
I ended up using a Farm Boy Pancake Mix that I hadn’t used before and it worked perfectly – the waffles were light and fluffy and the boys ate them up!
You have the option to make just a bunny or a circle around the bunny as well for bigger waffles. I cut off the excess so I had perfect little bunnies, and that was it! I added a few other things the boys would like on their waffles, and I put the board together.
I think this is the cutest little waffle maker for making a fun appetizer (waffles are something different to serve before dinner for sure!), or for a big breakfast Easter morning. This little gadget is so easy to use that I’m planning on making my son waffles for his lunches too! It really is non-stick so it’s easy to peel the waffles from the waffle maker, and the clean up is quick and easy! It’s so much fun to use!
