Dress – Forever 21 // Boots – Call it Spring // Earrings – H&M // Bag – Chanel
Burgundy is my favorite colour to wear right now, and I thought this dress paired perfectly with my grey over the knee boots.
This simple outfit surprised me with how warm it was! The length is perfect for pairing with OTK boots because my legs were basically covered up, and since the dress had long bell sleeves as well I could almost say this outfit was practical for the weather!
Where I live our weather ranges from extremely cold one day, to only needing a light jacket the next so it’s hard to know what to wear. Whenever I can I tend to opt with wearing a dress, so a longer hem and long sleeves are a perfect fit for me right now.
I’ve really been keeping things casual this year with my jewelry, opting for bigger statement earrings but minimal necklaces and rings. When I look back to what I was wearing last year I was doing the exact opposite with large statement necklaces and chunkier rings. I’ve put all of those items away in case those trends come back.
Do you find your weekends are filling up fast now that we are heading into the holidays? I feel like I am completely booked until Christmas! This weekend isn’t too bad – I have a big girls night dinner tonight, and tomorrow night I have a date night with the hubs, a wine and cheese party on Sunday afternoon with the girls, and in between it all I’m shooting lots of things for the blog!
