As I write this blog post, I’m just getting back from a freezing cold photo shoot in the snow! Oh how things can change in only a couple of weeks. I miss the sand and sun so much.
With Christmas in full swing around here it leaves me with so many things to be excited about! Every weekend seems to have a fun event that has us meeting up with family and friends, so I can’t be sad about that!
Last night I met up with some blogger girlfriends of mine, and I worried after I got home that it wouldn’t be until after the holidays that we would see each other again! Everyone gets so busy at this time of year that I’ve been working extra hard to fit everyone and everything I can into my calendar before the holidays. I’m a little obsessed with the Cozi App lately – my husband and I link our schedules to it so we can see what we’ve signed each other up for. It’s essential for us right now!
This dress ended up being one of those perfect little online shopping surprises because it was truly the perfect fit! It was surprising since so many things could go wrong – the material was thick and not at all see-through, the buttons and bust were perfect – the fit really was amazing! I loved the length as well – it just ended up being an easy purchase that I didn’t need to see a seamstress for.
I love wearing a sleeveless dress when I am away somewhere hot, because sweat, so this one is a dress I will wear over and over again! AND it comes in more colors. So basically now that I know I love it, I’ll likely buy another!
Do you have any travel plans coming up? I have another beachy adventure in the New Year, and before and after that trip I have a couple winter trips that I am SO excited for because they are girl’s weekends away! They are always so much fun!
