I have to admit, I’ve been in a better mood these past few weeks because I know I’ll see some hot weather soon! Until then the weather has been so cold I’ve been trying to stay inside, but I’ve been wearing this jacket on repeat when I’ve had to venture outside.
I’ve had SO many compliments on this coat – it really is the cutest! It’s so much more fun than my black parka that’s for sure – it’s a coat I want to keep on even when I’m inside because it’s so stylish! The bonus is that it’s warm. Cute and warm rarely go together unfortunately, but in this case it works.
This past weekend we were busy with a Friday night playdate – it’s amazing how tired a play date can make you! – lots of hockey, and we had a date night in between. We often try to fit in dinner and movie if we can depending where our son will be during our date night. For this one we had just enough time to have a few drinks, eat some sliders and fries and have some popcorn during the movie (thank goodness for the VIP theatre!). It’s been a while since we’ve gone somewhere really amazing for dinner, and I hoping for our next one we can go for a REAL dinner!
On the docket this week? A shopping trip in Toronto, a couple trips to the gym, and battles I’m sure with all of the snow that’s coming! I’m also continuing to “Spark Joy” in our home by getting rid of everything we don’t need, and making space for my new spring finds. I am so ready for warmer weather!
