Review of Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

imageReview of Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

I started out this winter thinking that my skin was much less dry then in past seasons, but then the ACTUAL winter weather came, and my skin has been a mess.

My hands have been especially dry because I haven’t been taking the best care of them. I’m also on 24/7 mom-duty so I’m constantly doing dishes, washing toddler hands (because he hasn’t grasped the concept that germs are gross yet), and when I need a quick fix of hand cream I normally reach for something that smells good and doesn’t promise anything beyond a moment of hydration and a bit of scent.

I can honestly say that Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula Hand Cream is different than any other hand cream I have ever tried. I have never experienced this kind of instant hydration. I had a moment of beauty-geek excitedness, yelling to the only other adult home (my hubby) that he needed to try this stuff right away!

It has a gel-like consistency, but once you rub it in it seems to seep into every crevice of your hands and you are instantly moisturized. I seriously want to stand on a street corner and squeeze this stuff into the palms of strangers so they can see how hydrating this cream really is!

It’s dermatologist tested, and claims to provide 17-hour hydration for rough, dry hands, which I believe this to be true.

The packaging is simple, and it comes in a great 50ml tube which you can easily throw into your purse and go. The hand cream is unscented, and it really does have lasting effects. Once applied I didn’t feel like my hands were greasy at all. I found that even after I washed and dried my hands (which is usually a trigger for my hands to dry out) that they were less dry then usual since using the cream.

This hand cream works! The price is very affordable at only $6.99 CDN, especially considering how amazing this cream is.

Dry hands? Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream is a must-try. You can purchase it at most national food, drug, and mass merchandisers.

Review of Bioderma’s Sensibio & Hydrabio H2O Micellar Water

http://www.bioderma.com/en/our-products/hydrabio/h2o

I don’t know how I lived without micellar water. A couple of months ago I had no idea what it was, but now I truly can’t go a day without it.

I was just packing a bag for an overnight trip and it was part of my must-haves. I never travel with makeup remover (hello lazy!), but micellar water is the exception.

I’ve spent the last few weeks trying out Bioderma’s Sensibio H2O Micellar Water, and Hydrabio H2O Micellar Water.

Review of Bioderma Micellar water

Both have similar uses and instructions on use, but they each have their own special perks.

Hydrabio H2O works to not only cleans your skin, but help you retain the water your face needs to stay hydrated. It’s all about hydration!

It removed everything at night including my waterproof mascara using just a little on a cotton ball, and it refreshed my face in the morning before I put on my face cream.

Review of Bioderma Micellar water

The Sensibio H2O is a dermatological micellar water that is perfectly compatible with skin because it helps naturally rebuild the skin’s hydrolipolidic film. If you have very sensitive skin, this may be the micellar water for you.

It is soothing to sensitive skin, and really feels like you are cleaning your face with water. But better, because it removes all of my makeup and whatever else is on there without drying it out.

How do you know this stuff works? One bottle of Sensibio H2O sold around the world every 5 seconds. Word is getting around how amazing this formula is.

Both are fragrance free, and they did not irritate my skin at all.

Both Micellar water’s from Bioderma were amazing, and even my hubby has been stealing it from me so I need to leave it on the counter so we can both use it!

Review of Vichy’s Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet

Review of Vichy’s Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet

I think if there’s one thing I want people to talk about when I walk away, it’s about how good I smell.

There lots of other reasons I wouldn’t want people to talk about me once I’ve walked away, but I’ve realized that leaving behind a lovely scent is the impression I want to leave with people. Ok, I may want to leave a stronger impression like that I’m a happy, friendly, smart and a fierce girl boss, but I can totally settle with smelling good.

Vichy’s new Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet smells exactly what it describes in the title – a sorbet. And who wouldn’t want to smell like a sorbet? I’m pretty sure the answer to that is no one – because everyone wants to smell like a sorbet.
Review of Vichy’s Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet

As one of Vichy’s latest product launches (just this past February) I have to say the Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet is the freshest smelling product I have tried from the brand. That’s saying a lot considering in most of my Vichy beauty reviews I compliment the amazing scent each product has.

Vichy is committed to producing products which are tested on sensitive skin under dermatological control, are hypoallergenic, and contain no parabens, and this product is no exception.
Review of Vichy’s Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet

This lotion provides 24 hour hydration with the help of Gingko Biloba and Hyaluronic acid, while LHA and fundamental oils contribute to smooth skin tone and firmness and softness.

The lotion is a soft orange colour, and it has a cooling effect on the skin which is nice and refreshing.

I love that it has a pump top so there is no need to worry about caps (mostly because I never close them!), and have I mentioned how fresh the scent is? It smells like spring in a bottle, so I’m big fan.
