Fringed Boots for Fall

Fringed Boots for Fall

Last week I paid a visit to Mapleview Centre for a bit of shopping, and I came across the cutest faux-suede fringed ankle boots at Forever 21! These will be a staple piece in my fall outfits over the next few months. At only $45.50 I was very happy with the price as well!

It seemed like fringe was going to be a strong part of the summer festival trend and that would be it, but it’s now translating into another season of wear with vests, skirts, shoes, and anything else you can add a fringe too.

Boots like these are practical enough that you can do errands in, but they are stylish enough to wear with a dress or skirt.

I scooped up the last pair these boots at the Forever 21 at Mapleview Centre and I couldn’t find them online either, so I’ve added a few more styles by other brands below in case you love this trend as much as I do!

Discover your Wild Side with Dixie Outlet Mall!

Earlier in the year I had a great time taking part in the She Who Hunts Finds blogger challenge, and now I am lucky enough to take part in another challenge with Dixie Outlet Mall!

This time around I have started my shopping adventure by completing the Take the Wild Side Quiz to reveal my shopping persona. You can take your own quiz at www.DixieWildSide.com to reveal what your shopping animal is, and why that animal fits your shopping style.

I have to tell you, this was the easiest quiz I have ever taken! The answers were always right there for me (it was all multiple choice), and when I found our my shopping persona was The Lioness I wasn’t all that surprised. The description for The Lioness is: Fiercely fashion forward with an untamed sense of style. You’re proud to take care of shopping for the whole family. It’s not hard to see why everyone knows you’re queen of the jungle.

Doesn’t that sound just like me? I shop for my husband and son on a pretty consistent basis, and well I’d like to believe I have an untamed sense of style!

Next up – time to go shopping!

I am heading out in a few days to Dixie Outlet Mall to put together an outfit (or two) for $200 or less, and to put my new title of The Lioness to the test.

I’m going to be looking for something to take me into fall, so I’ve created a fall mood board to inspire me before my shop.

Would you like your chance to shop at Dixie Outlet Mall too? Well, really you can head there anytime (maybe I will see you there this weekend?), but I have a fabulous giveaway coming soon to the blog where you could win a gift card to go shopping! Stay tuned!

Shopping with Zaful.com

Shopping with Zaful.com

I’m heading away on a cruise at the end of October, so I’ve been searching for some great outfits for my trip.

I’m loving the look of this maxi dress! It’s from Zaful.com – an online store with fun fashion at very affordable prices.

I actually think I will be doing a lot of shopping for my trip on Zaful.com – they have thousands of dresses to choose from, and also tops, skirts, shoes and other accessories in their online store.

This dress I am wearing is only $18.33, and it’s a really fun style. You can see it here on the website, and I was happy it looked just like the photo when it arrived.

Many of the photos on the website are uploaded by other bloggers and shoppers of the site who uploaded photos of themselves wearing Zaful outfits. This is because you can earn Zaful points that way to put towards your purchases. 100 points equals $2.00 on the website. Signing up for their email list will earn you points as well.

They offer free shipping worldwide, but to get your item faster you can upgrade your shipping.

I really love the dress they sent me, and I’ve already got quite a few items in my shopping cart right now on the Zaful website so I think you will be seeing lots of new outfits from them in the future on the blog!

For more information and to get your shop on, visit www.zaful.com!

Pointed Toe Lace Up Flats

Laced up pointed toe flats

Stores are filling up with cozy sweaters and flannel shirts for fall, and I’m already starting to think about what I need for colder weather. I’m still wearing flip flops, but it’s nice to have some versatile shoes for the transition from summer to fall.

One of the trends coming this fall will be pointed toe laced up flats, and I’ve already picked up a pair for myself.

This pair I’m wearing are from Aldo and are super comfortable!

I think they would look great with a dress as well because of the lace-up detail.

Summer Rompers for $30 and under

Cute Rompers for under $30

When I saw this romper I couldn’t pass it up, not only because I loved the print, but also because I loved the price! At only $19.99 from H&M, how could I not buy it?

I really liked the fit, amd sometimes rompers can be a difficult thing to buy. Once I find one that fits me I usually purchase it. So many are too short on me, or the waist doesn’t hit me in the right spot. It’s one thing that I would need to try on, and because of my body type I’m not sure if I could buy a romper for myself online.

It’s so much easier to spend $20 or $30 on a summer outfit than a winter one. It’s rare to find a great sweater for that cheap (or it’s just pure luck), so it’s nice to not have to spend a lot for a cute summer trend.

Here are a few more cute rompers for under $30 below!
