Scarf, Jeans and Cardigan courtesy of Jean Machine
I don’t know if you have noticed, but I have a sort of “uniform” that I wear often! Great jeans, a cozy long cardigan, and a blanket scarf to wrap the whole look up like a cute and cozy present! I say it’s a “uniform” because I tend a to have a few variations of this look! This one has to be my favourite right now for a few reasons.
The whole look is from Jean Machine, and I started it off with the jeans! Ok wait, I passed the cardigan on the way into the store and I subconsciously knew where this outfit would go, but I started off by picking the perfect jeans. At the Jean Machine Oshawa store I tend to pop in every once in a while for a great pair of jeans. They sell quite a few brands, but two of my favourite are Just Black, and Guess.
I asked the team working what jeans are their favourite, and they said hands-down it was this pair of Guess jeans I picked up! They are called the Viola Lowrise Power Skinny and I absolutely know why they love them! The fit is perfect – they are so comfortable that it’s like wearing a pair of joggers! The distressing on them is perfect – I even love the colour! It’s safe to say they are my new favourites now too!
Next up I ran back to grab that cardigan I saw on the way in the door because it was grey (I LOVE a good grey sweater!), long, it had pockets, and it’s so cozy! I hate scratchy sweater, and this one passed the test of not only being scratch-free, but it’s one of the softest ones I have.
Jean Machine always has the best scarves. This pattern was one I didn’t have a colour combination of so I gravitated towards it immediately. The size of their scarves are perfect as well – unfolded it’s the size of a blanket! By just folding it in half I had the perfect blanket scarf to wear with my look.
A few things I love about Jean Machine – they don’t just have jeans – they have dresses (casual to party), sweaters, t-shirts and more. I always find something I love. They also have some great winter accessories right now like mitts, scarves and hats.
I always find a pair of jeans to take home because they have quite a few brands from Yoga Jeans, Mavi, and Silver Jeans Co. to name a few.
Finally, the staff are SUPER helpful! Helpful in the way that they have suggestions because they shop at the store themselves, and also because they aren’t afraid to tell me when something doesn’t look great on me. I really trust their advice because they are honest!
