If you told me a few months ago we would be having Easter dinner as a family of three I wouldn’t have believed you! We are usually stretched pretty thin over the holidays, so this will be the first holiday EVER that we are spending together without anyone else.
I’ve been scrambling a bit over the last week or so ordering everything I need for Easter online, and I wanted to share a few things that I’ve found along the way! I’ve been shopping on Amazon.ca, Indigo, buybuyBABY, and it turns out Purdys ships to your home (I usually just popped into my local store when I needed something – I actually didn’t know they had online shopping)!
Luckily before we were asked to stay home a few weeks ago I picked up a couple Easter baskets early from Dollarama because I thought they were pretty adorable.
Here are my other favourite Easter basket picks that you can shop for from home!
Books are something we give for every holiday, so I grabbed Stink and the Attack of the Slime Mold from Amazon.ca, along with Stink: Hamlet and Cheese, Stink: Solar System Super Hero, and Star Wars An Obi-Wan & Anakin Adventure: A Choose Your Destiny Chapter Book.
This striped basket I have them in is from Indigo and you can find it here.
These are all books I know my son wanted to read so I was happy to grab them for a great price on Amazon! Another one of my favourite spots for books is buybuyBABY. Right now you can get free FedEx shipping for orders over $49, and they are open so you can chose to pick up your order in-store! Their selection of books is always pretty amazing. They have some great toys and really cute Easter outfits too!
The main gift we got our son is kind of funny – he loves playing Ladder Ball in backyards where people have the game, so I found this great deal on this set here on Amazon!
We found some really cool eggs on Amazon that already have little toys inside each egg, and the price was amazing, plus it did a lot of the work for me when it comes to the actual egg hunt!
Much of our chocolate for Easter is from Purdys. It’s a spot we stop at often to buy chocolate on our way out of the mall, and for every holiday we usually buy our treats from them. It’s so cool that you can shop from them online! They have some great pre-wrapped chocolates, and they also have baskets already made up for Easter!
One cute little add-on item from Amazon that I put into my son’s Easter basket was this cute train you can paint before you put together! It’s one of those projects we can all use to keep kids busy right about now!
This Easter will be so different than all of the ones before it for our family, so I’m hoping that by having our regular Easter egg hunt at home and turkey dinner, things will seem at least a little familiar! I hope some of these ideas help you out on your search for items this Easter!
