Opening up new boxes of makeup feels like Christmas morning! Especially when the packaging is just as beautiful as the makeup inside.
I had heard amazing things about Marc Jacobs Beauty, but I hadn’t tried any of it until just a few weeks ago.
How pretty is all of this? I just love the sleek black casing on the blush and eyeshadow, while the highliner and outline were done in silver. The lipstick just looks like the perfect accessory, while The Blush brush did it’s job perfectly and looked good while doing it!
First off, the Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara gives just that! So much volume! My lashes didn’t need a lash curler – I loved this mascara because of the volume and length it gave my lashes. It’s best seller for a reason.
I’ve recently become more of a brunette so I could fully appreciate this Style Eye-Con No.3 – Plush Shadow in The Rebel because of the purple tones. I found this palette so flattering! I wasn’t sure at first how it would look, but once I used it I fell in love! I often use different browns, but this palette was much more flattering with my skintone and hair.
I wasn’t sure exactly what a Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner was, but then I realized it was an eyeliner that wasn’t black! Here’s the thing – I’ve only ever worn black or brown eyeliner until now. Can you see how I was confused?!
I wasn’t sure how these colours would work, but they were subtile and pretty. I used the Jazz(berry) on my top eyelash line, and on my bottom lashes I used the Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Mari(Gold) 70 – golden peach.
Oh how I love this blush! So so pretty and FLATTERING! I love a good glow, and this blush gave off the perfect glow that I need so badly at this time of year.
The Air Blush Soft Glow Duo in 506 Flesh & Fantasy – ivory shimmer/ goddess bronze is subtle enough to give a hint of colour in the most natural way.
The Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick has to be one of my favourites! It did not dry out my lips at all which I was so happy about! Normally I add my lip gloss on top of my lipstick, but I didn’t need to in this case. I also love the colour for fall! I’m wearing Magenta 224, and now I totally get why people rave over this lipstick!
I just loved all of the makeup I tried from Marc Jacobs Beauty. I’m officially a fan, and I can’t believe I hadn’t tried it before. I heard so many good things, and all of them were true! The packaging is beautiful, the eyeshadow easily glided onto my lids with no creasing, and I thought the lipstick was fabulous! Head here to see how my final look turned out!
