After being in the Bahamas last week, this cold seems so much more bitter. I loved my time in the sun, but now that I’m back to running errands, blogging, and doing school runs I’m having a hard time not being cranky with the weather!

Luckily before I left on my trip I had a little indoor shoot at Maison Blanc Day Spa in Whitby – one of the prettiest places in town! My photographer Tara and I loved shooting inside – it’s been just too cold to do streetstyle shots.

I’ve been visiting the spa as long as I can remember, and it’s one of my favorite places to relax. The staff is absolutely incredible, and just being there is so relaxing! Shooting looks to spa music is a pretty zen experience.

This dress caught my eye on the rack because of the gorgeous colour, and I bought it without trying it on because it just had to fit! I adore this colour, and I didn’t notice the sleeve detail until I got it home and tried it on. It’s such a simple dress with some very pretty details that dress it up. I love the little buttons on the sleeve, along with the way it’s fitted at the wrist so it gives the sleeve a bit of a boost.

I paired it with this chunky necklace I picked up in NYC last year but hadn’t worn yet, and these oh-so-comfortable sock booties that are so flattering!

This Chanel clutch is one of my favourite purchases – I picked it up in Las Vegas a couple years ago and I am so glad I bought it – it goes with everything!

I’ve been debating between wearing classic red on Valentine’s Day, or this pretty green dress just because I love the colour pop.

Have you decided what you are wearing for Valentine’s Day yet? I have one other option I will have on the blog soon!

Oooh, I was just looking at a pair of pants at Banana Republic that are almost the same colour as your dress. It looks fantastic on you! Maybe I should just go for it!
