There’s nothing I love more than a girls’ night! As much as I love my husband, girls’ night is the best way to relax and have a good time. I love to go away with my friends, but I also love hosting a night in where we can hang out, eat, and laugh!
Lately I’ve felt so stressed with the holidays coming up that I thought it would be fun to host a girls’ night at my house. What are the essentials for a relaxing and fun girls’ night in?
Upon arrival, I love having a cute little surprise for my visitors! Usually, I have fresh new slippers or socks for my guests (for when they take off their heels or boots). But this time I thought that for an even cozier night in, a pair of winter over-the-knee socks would add to the comfort factor!
Next up, snacks and champagne!
A little rose champagne is so much cuter with a strawberry garnish! I added in some popcorn, more strawberries and cotton candy chocolate to round out the snacks for our night in.
The perfect holiday movie? Love Actually of course! I love watching this movie during holidays, and it’s the perfect rom-com to watch during a girls’ night!
A spa-like atmosphere is always a good way to unwind during the stressful days of December, so a little pampering is a fun way to relax and enjoy a chat with your girlfriends.
I also thought it would be cute to set up a little nail bar with fresh nail files and polishes for the girls. While watching the movie and snacking, we could gossip and actually have some time to allow our nails to dry!
The perfect time for a face mask? During a girls’ night in of course! Usually I want to do a face mask when I’m on my own, so no one can see how funny I look. The only other time I will do one is when I’m hanging out with my girls.
