Heart Spoon – Amazon
Berry Colander – Crate and Barrel
Heart Beads – Words on Wood
This is my second Dash waffle maker – I just love these little things! I bought the Easter Bunny one as well, and I actually use it all the time! My son can easily use it to make waffles as well which is why I like it, plus I can make small waffles and pancakes for things like school lunches, or just for fun at breakfast.
At first I had a hard time figuring out how making a pancake or waffle one at a time would work when making a full breakfast, but after a while you get used to how quickly they cook (only a couple minutes), and by having a giant bowl of mix ready to go the process actually goes pretty quickly!
I prep everything except for the waffles first when I make one of these boards, so really I’m just warming up the maple syrup and making the waffles in the end!
It gets a little harder to add eggs and bacon to boards like these, but I have in the past. I make the waffles first (luckily I have a little warming oven, but if you don’t you could pop them in your oven after making them), and then I make the eggs and bacon at the same time and I’m ready to go!
All of this is very simple – I think it’s just the pre-prep that’s important. Slicing the fruit getting everything else ready before you plate the waffles makes life easier. If you are including eggs and bacon, make the waffles first and keep them warm.
These little Dash Mini Waffle Makers are super easy to use – just spray them, and then add your pancake mix or waffle mix and in a couple short minutes you are done!
You can buy them all over the place, but I’ve linked them here because there is a 20% off coupon from Bed, Bath & Beyond you can use!
