Jacket – H&M (in stores now, similar online here) | Tank Top – H&M | Suede Skirt – H&M | Heels – Kate & Mel (Town Shoes) | Bag – Chanel

I’m so glad I chose this outfit for Wednesday night’s Toronto Fashion Week shows because I absolutely needed a warm jacket! I think the hardest part about Fashion Week (not that there is really “hard part”) is dressing for the Canadian weather. It seems to always be snowing, raining, or just generally cold!

I love a good white jacket, and this lovely one from H&M was just marked down from $80 to $40 so it was a steal! It has an open front with no buttons or a zipper which was perfect to wear as more of an accessory to my outfit than to just bundle up.

I’m sure you are starting to see these button-up skirts everywhere as of late, and my favourite version is this suede one (although I’m sure I will buy a few more in different fabrics for summer). I actually had a hard time finding the right top to go with it so I kept it simple with a tank, especially since I was planning on wearing my jacket all night. Of course, later I found the perfect top, but that’s fine because I’m sure I will be wearing this skirt again next week.

I’ve been wearing these comfy heels over the last month and they were a great purchase since they are neutral and go with everything. Nude shoes really are an investment piece, so don’t feel bad about splurging on a pair because they will get more than enough wear.

Hope you are having a great week!

Black Cape – Lavish Alice | Leather Skirt – Forever 21 | Fringed Shoes – Steve Madden | Broach – Chanel | Clutch – Chanel

Can I tell you how much I loved feeling like a superhero in this amazing cape! For my first Toronto Fashion Week look I chose this pretty black Lavish Alice cape top, and I paired it with my leather skirt from Forever 21.

My new fringed Steve Madden cobalt blue shoes are so comfortable, and I love all of the fringe. There is so much fringe!!

Finally I finished off the outfit with my coveted Chanel broach and my quilted Chanel clutch.

I normally don’t like wearing all black, but when a cape and some bright blue shoes are involved, black works for me!

Stay tuned for a couple more of Toronto Fashion Week looks coming this week!

Lace Bell Sleeve Dress – AEO | Fringed Boots – Minnetonka | Wool Hat – H&M | Infinity Necklace – H&M (similar)
I love dressing a little boho sometimes, and when I saw this dress at AEO I was excited because it had sleeves! I love wearing dresses, which means I usually end up freezing because I wear them year-round. When I saw this one with sleeves I was excited because it was the perfect transitional dress to go from winter to spring.

Another great perk of this dress is that where it laces up there is a removable piece if you want to show a bit more skin. I was a little chilly last Saturday so I kept that little patch in!

I chose to accesorize with a great floppy hat from H&M which kept my head surprisingly warm, and my fringed Minnetonka’s seemed to go perfectly.

I also had a French Vanilla Frappucino in tow which I highly recommend as a Saturday afternoon pick-me-up!

Have a great rest of the week everyone!

Review of Vichy’s Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet

Review of Vichy’s Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet

I think if there’s one thing I want people to talk about when I walk away, it’s about how good I smell.

There lots of other reasons I wouldn’t want people to talk about me once I’ve walked away, but I’ve realized that leaving behind a lovely scent is the impression I want to leave with people. Ok, I may want to leave a stronger impression like that I’m a happy, friendly, smart and a fierce girl boss, but I can totally settle with smelling good.

Vichy’s new Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet smells exactly what it describes in the title – a sorbet. And who wouldn’t want to smell like a sorbet? I’m pretty sure the answer to that is no one – because everyone wants to smell like a sorbet.
Review of Vichy’s Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet

As one of Vichy’s latest product launches (just this past February) I have to say the Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet is the freshest smelling product I have tried from the brand. That’s saying a lot considering in most of my Vichy beauty reviews I compliment the amazing scent each product has.

Vichy is committed to producing products which are tested on sensitive skin under dermatological control, are hypoallergenic, and contain no parabens, and this product is no exception.
Review of Vichy’s Ideal Body Aqua Sorbet

This lotion provides 24 hour hydration with the help of Gingko Biloba and Hyaluronic acid, while LHA and fundamental oils contribute to smooth skin tone and firmness and softness.

The lotion is a soft orange colour, and it has a cooling effect on the skin which is nice and refreshing.

I love that it has a pump top so there is no need to worry about caps (mostly because I never close them!), and have I mentioned how fresh the scent is? It smells like spring in a bottle, so I’m big fan.

This product was provided to me for review, but all opinions are fabulously my own.

Dress – Free People | Bar Necklace – Etsy | Boots – Call it Spring Reveles Boots | Clutch – Chanel | Wrap Bracelet – Tory Burch | Sunglasses – Dior

I did a little shopping this weekend and picked up this very pretty embroidered dress from Free People that is so comfy! Although I’m sure it would look even prettier somewhere with palm trees in the background, for now I can wear it on the blog and pack it away for warmer spring temperatures.

The embroidery is my favourite part. It’s really a gorgeous dress up close, and the fit is my favourite part. I love the way it hangs, and the way it looks when it gets swept up in the wind.

I cannot wait to wear this dress with some nude gladiator sandals (which I don’t have just yet, but am on the hunt for), and preferably a drink in hand as well.

Have a great week everyone!
