Pottery Barn Kids Nursery Style Event

One of my favourite places to shop when I was planning for my baby’s arrival was Pottery Barn Kids. I spent hours going through their website ordering blankets, towels, decor and toys. I love buying gifts for friends with babies on the way from there as well to get my fix of cute baby gear! Lucky for me their toddler lines are just as adorable, so my addiction continues with no end in sight.

Launching today! Sophia Webster for J. Crew

Today is the day J. Crew launches their collaboration with British footwear designer Sophia Webster.

The 13 piece shoe collection is bright, cheerful, and I haven’t seen one pair that I wouldn’t love to have!

The shoe collection was designed to highlight the colour and patterns found in the J.Crew S/S ‘14 Women’s Collection.

“Sophia Webster is one of the most exciting and talented British designers. Her shoes are like miniature sets – a beautiful world for your feet to spend the day in,” says Jenna Lyons, President and Executive Creative Director of J.Crew. “Each shoe tells a unique story.”

Items in the collection range in price from $320 to $695.

Toronto Spa Week with WaySpa

Studs!

Accessories are my jam. I think I actually have more scarves, shoes, and jewelry than clothes. It seems like buying just one necklace or a pair of earrings is insignificant and harmless as opposed to buying a jacket, but really it adds up. Especially when you do it a lot! Right now I’m really into stud earrings. Mostly because I cleaned out my circa-2006 chandelier earring collection recently, and now I have a giant hole in my jewelry box which needs to be filed. AKID Brand

I’m always on the lookout for awesome clothes and shoes for my son. I get really excited when I find something fashionable and functional for him as well. Usually the on-trend kids stuff tends to be uncomfortable or easily destroyed.

AKID is a unisex brand of shoes made specifically for children aged 2-8. The best part – they are über stylish. AKID shoes are sold through their online boutique which is easily shopable. Trust me on this because after doing some browsing on the site I’ve decided my son NEEDS a pair of the Atticus Boots in Zebra. They have many photos of each product at different angles so you know what you are buying.

AKID uses super soft leathers so their shoes may be worn sock-free, and their shoes have zippers on the side so you can easily get them on and off. Laces are my worst enemy when it comes to kids shoes! Who has time to tie or un-tie laces?!
