Are you an Avioner yet? Being an RBC Avion cardholder has brought me so many perks including traveling to NYC on points alone, and fun experiences during TIFF this fall. If I wasn’t an Avioner, I wouldn’t be able to have these amazing experiences over the last couple months.
One of my FAVOURITE perks of the card is visiting the Avion Holiday Boutique!
I spent some time in the Avion Holiday Boutique at Yorkdale Mall just before it opened to the public this past Wednesday, and I can’t wait to tell you about all of the fun perks we Avioner’s get to experience this year!
First off, complimentary valet parking! Parking during the holidays is one of the worst parts of the holiday shopping process. It’s so frustrating when you can’t find a spot at the mall, so valet parking tends to make the start of your shopping experience a bit more seamless, and RBC Avion card holders just need to show their Avion card and the service is free at Yorkdale Mall.
After dropping off my car at the valet stand I walked to the nearby Avion Holiday Boutique. I flashed my card to gain entry, and dropped off my coat at the complimentary coat check so I could enjoy the Boutique! There were little treats and warm beverages I could enjoy with friends, and plenty of seating to rest my feet from time spent shopping.
One of the other perks in the Avion Holiday Boutique includes free gift wrapping. There are little Elves in the boutique (ok, they aren’t really Elves per say, but they sure act like it!) who are there to wrap your holiday gifts for you for free!
We aren’t just talking any gift wrapping – pretty holiday paper with gorgeous bows! My pro-tip here is to drop off your packages while you shop, so by the time you are ready to leave the mall your packages are almost ready to go – you just need to drop them off under your tree.
Last year I brought my son with me to the Avion Holiday Boutique, and he just loved that we could rest in between stores. He couldn’t believe someone offered him a cookie, a drink, and let him relax at the mall! He said “Mommy, what IS this place?!”. So cute – he’s clearly an Avioner in training!
The holidays are stressful enough, so if you live in Toronto slow down the hustle a bit and take advantage of the amazing services at the Avion Holiday Boutique. Nothing’s worse than wrapping your gifts last minute – take advantage of bringing your gifts home wrapped and ready to give.
If you aren’t an Avioner yet, isn’t it time? The perks and experiences I’ve enjoyed this year have been amazing – I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me next!
