This summer I’ve been using a new system on my hair that has pretty much changed the way I wash it, so I’m pretty excited to share it with you!
I’ve had the same routine for years – I wash my hair every other day. I have been told over and over again that it’s better to wash your hair less often, but I have found that it just gets too oily by the second day.
I completed an online diagnostic tool provided by Kérastase, and that survey let me know which of their collections would be perfect for me.
It turns out that the collection which was my match was the Thérapiste Résistance.
It included Soin Premier Thérapiste which is a conditioner to be used PRIOR to shampoo. That was a first for me! It helps to repair damage and protects it prior to washing with shampoo.
Bain Thérapiste is the shampoo of the collection, and it repairs hair and reduces friction when washing hair.
The Masque Thérapiste has to be my favourite product of the collection! It fuses to hair and restores each fibre. I loved the feel of this product, especially after I washed it out!
The final product of the collection is the Double Sérum Thérapiste. This leave-in product thermo-protects the hair from heat styling tools at temperatures of up to 230°C / 446°F, and it moisturizes the fibre and seals ends.
How has this collection changed my hair?
Well, as I mentioned earlier I normally need to wash my hair every two days without fail. If I ever made it to three days my hair would be an oily mess! With this system I have been able to stretch my washes from every 2 days to every 3 days! This is a huge change for me – I have never been able to do this, but this system has helped me with my oily hair situation.
My hair has felt much smoother, and it feels much more protected with this system.
