Teeth brushing is a little torturous in our household. My son picks and chooses the nights he wants to participate. Sometimes I wonder if anything got cleaned after a teeth brushing!
Last week we started using a new kind of toothpaste. Previously we had tried a few different brands, and my son really didn’t seem to have a reaction to them.
Tom’s Children’s Fluoride-free toothpaste uses calcium and silica to gently clean teeth. It’s made with real fruit flavour, so there are no artificial flavours to worry about.
We tried out Tom’s Children’s Fluoride-Free Toothpaste in Silly Strawberry. His reaction was priceless! His first time trying it he said “Mmmm yummy! I like it Mommy!”. It was the longest and most thorough teeth cleaning we had ever done with him. He started out brushing himself, and then he let me do a good brushing for him as well.
Every day since has been the same. He is actually excited to brush his teeth, and all of his brushings have been long and thorough. This toothpaste has been a total game changer for us!
I also wanted to review Tom’s Wicked Cool! Fluoride Free Toothpaste, but unfortunately we tried the Silly Strawberry flavour first, and I can’t get my son to try the other flavour. Like he won’t even acknowledge the other toothpaste’s existence. I gave it a try myself and it was a light minty flavour. So I might use it myself for a bit!
Check out Tom’s Children’s Fluoride-Free-Free Silly Strawberry Toothpaste here, and Tom’s Wicked Cool! Fluoride Free Toothpaste here. Both retail for $3.99.
