Disclosure: I have partnered with YMC and Dempster’s and have received compensation for this post. All opinions are my own.
Do you ever have one of those weeks where you think to yourself, I don’t have time to get anything done? I actually say that to myself EVERY week. I’m an organized girl with a dayplanner in my bag, I connect with my husband’s schedule through the Cozi app, and every week I set my schedule straight on Sunday nights.
Somehow even with all of that organization I just feel too busy!
Every week I play soccer, my son plays soccer, my son has tutoring, and he also plays hockey twice a week. Add in a birthday party every couple of weeks, playdates, travel and work and even with all of that organization our schedule just feels too full!
I have a few “cheats” that I use each week to keep things under control. I order my groceries online. I have my hair done at the gym I go to which also offers childcare. I travel with snacks for my son at all times – every week I stock my purse so I don’t hear the “I’m hungry” whine without being prepared. I also store a small backpack in my car filled with small toys and puzzles in case we need to run out for dinner so my son’s time is occupied, or if we get stuck in traffic commuting from one place to another.
One of my latest cheats is a new product that Dempster’s sent me to try out, and it fits right in with all of the things I have on the go!
As I mentioned I’m always travelling with snacks in my purse for my son. I need to change it up often because he gets sick of the same things over and over again.
Dempster’s Pull-Aparts are prefect to pack for a quick grab-and-go snack because you don’t need to add anything to them before you eat! They are sweet, but not too sweet so there’s no need for jam or other spreads. You can just pack, eat and go!
My son is actually very particular with it comes to his sandwiches. He loves them on bun’s, but he doesn’t like condiments. These little Dempster’s Pull-Aparts are compact enough to pack a couple sandwiches, and I don’t need to add much to them for my son to eat them up at lunch.
Mom life is HARD and there’s rarely any time to actually sit down and take a break, let alone eat something! While I’m working on the blog I tend to snack more than actually eat a meal. I love typing with one hand, and eating something with the other to save time!
Dempster’s Pull-Aparts are made in a nut free facility so they can easily be sent for school lunches, and you can serve them on playdates without a worry. My son loved watching this video when they pulled the Dempster’s Pull-Aparts with a handshake! We do a similar handshake together, so he thought it was fun to pull them apart that way!
I think it’s so important to have something like for those times that I just need a quick snack, or we are heading out the door and need a quick an easy snack.
