Well hello there! I haven’t been on here since I was sharing a look for New Year’s Eve! I’ve been around on Instagram because, well, it’s easy to stay connected on there, but otherwise I took some time off with the fam.
I was a little sad to see my son go to school today, but he was BEYOND excited. He was dressed, had his bed made and teeth brushed before my alarm even went off! He said he didn’t want to be late. He knows us too well.
We weren’t late, and from there it was back to the grind! Here I sit at a Starbucks trying to remember how to form sentences and answer emails all starting with “Please excuse the delay in my response..”.
Turns out it absolutely freezing today, but luckily January has a few things to look forward to! In two weeks I have a girls weekend away, and in another two weeks I’m heading to Alantis with the boys! Having a few things exciting to come is making the grind a tad easier.
I get really sick of parka life, so I’ve been switching up my coats as much as possible. This cute one from Chicwish has a flattering cut, and luckily it’s cute AND warm. That doesn’t often happen with my winter coats!
When I wear a longer coat I’m brave enough to wear leggings because then I won’t freeze. It’s purely a survival choice at this time of year!
