Romper – Chicwish // Bag – Zara // Shoes – Le Chateau (similar) // Earrings – Baublebar
I spent this long weekend doing very little, so today has been an easy first day of the work week for me! We spent Friday at TasteMaker Toronto sampling food from all over the city, and then decided to just keep eating and headed to Bar Reyna for tacos, drinks and fries.
Saturday was rainy so we had a slow day at a birthday party, and then spent the night in eating even more and binge watching Evil Genious on Netflix (I HIGHLY recommend!).
Sunday my son and I started at the gym, then went off to cancel the workout we just had by eating hotdogs, fries and ice cream by the water, and then we headed by to Whitby to go out to dinner!
Monday we spent the day outside, and then my son and I had our first soccer games at night. That was after going out to lunch and then having a bucket of chicken for dinner!
So the weekend was spent mostly eating, and spending a lot of time relaxing – it was absolutely perfect!
Today it was back to catching up on emails, and trying to make sense of this messy house I live in, but I mostly failed miserably on both accounts so I’ll try again tomorrow!
I always say that buying romper’s online is HARD because they tend to be a difficult fit. Body types vary, and most of the time dresses can be more forgiving but a romper is usually not!
Luckily I often buy rompers from Chicwish, and every time I have ordered one it has fit perfectly! This one is my first polka dot purchase this summer – I know, I am completely behind on this trend! – and it is so darn comfortable!
The bag with the matching polka dot scarf may be a little too much, but I couldn’t resist pairing them together.
I love this cute look! Rompers just seem a tad more stylish to me than dresses at times, so I can’t wait to wear this one on a fun night out!
