To me nothing is more exciting than fall style because of the layers. You would think that winter style would be just as exciting too because of the layers, but when it includes a massive parka I just don’t find it as fun!
I love climbing into a warm vehicle and peeling off that parka so I can just drive around in a cozy sweater! I’ve been wearing quite a few henleys lately along with thick cozy cardigans. I love a good cardigan, but sometimes I do wish I could button or zip them up when it’s freezing like this day we were shooting!
I had one similar to this and I’ve just gotten rid of it because this sweater is so much softer and warmer than my last. Oh it’s a good one!
I’ve been saying to my husband for weeks that every day feels like Groundhog Day, so I laughed when today I found out it really was! Just to stay sane I’ve been throwing myself into Valentine’s Day mode, planning a fun day for our family. Everyone loves giving and sending out Valentine’s at school, so I’ll be sad for my son not being able to do it this year with Covid. I’m definitely trying to overcompensate for that!
I’ve been ready to start planning for Easter as well, so I’m shocked I didn’t do something crazy like plan a party for Groundhog Day! I’ve just been trying to make any small event more fun than usual to make up for online schooling and things being so different this past year.
Our one bright spot has been our new dog Chloë – she has kept us so busy, and my son adores her. Walking her every day has kept us active and playing with her is so distracting!
