I’m a girl that believes in having a little bit of sparkle on every day, but Valentine’s Day is one of the days that I think deserves a little bit more.

Most of the dresses I wear tend to be a bit understated because I like to add very special pieces of jewelry to finish the look. I love it when I have a simple neck on a dress so I can add a necklace, and I usually don’t leave home at all without a pair of earrings and rings.

If you check out the blog often then you know I’m usually wearing silver jewelry. Before my husband and I were engaged we both talked about how much we loved traditional gold wedding rings, and since he put a ring on it I’ve been contrasting my wedding bands with silver rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

When I thought about what would be the perfect Valentine’s Day look I remembered I had the prettiest little pink dress that I only had a chance to wear once to a gala. I also thought it would work perfectly with some silver pieces from Persona!

I kept the rest of the look simple with black pumps and a black clutch because I wanted the dress and my jewelry to make a statement.

I’m in love with this look! It has the perfect bit of colour for Valentine’s Day, and the perfect amount of sparkle!
