We are BIG on celebrating the holidays at our home! We have fun with them all – big and small – and do everything from decorate our home, make arts and crafts to match, and dress the part.
By the time January 20th rolled around our son was already expressing his worry that his Valentines weren’t finished yet. During Christmas he spent weeks making hand-made cards for every member of his family, and it turns out Valentine’s Day will be the same. I’m sure I’m the reason he’s so extra when it comes to holidays – by the time he turned one I had custom-made Valentine’s mailed to his little toddler friends. I think I’ve rubbed off on him a bit!
We also dress the theme for each holiday as well, and Gap never disappoints in this department! They always seem to have the perfect outfit for every holiday, and they always have options for something my son really wants to wear. I let him take a look at Gap’s The Love Connection shop which is full of picks for Valentine’s Day styles, and I let him choose his outfit for Valentine’s Day.
My guy is wearing the cutest top that was totally kid approved – once he saw it he knew he wanted it right away!
His jeans are rough and tough, and are called Superdenim Slim Jeans with Fantastiflex. They are high stretch so he can get them on easily, they are super soft so they are comfortable for him to wear all day, and they have a hook & bar closure so he can easily take them on and off on his own.
This year I picked up a cute folder for him to put his Valentine’s into for delivery (he says he wants to hand-deliver them this year instead of mailing them – that should take us a while!), so he’s got this red Colourblock Wind Buster to wear while making our deliveries!
