I hope you had a great week! This week my son went to school for the first time so it’s was sort of an important one for us. He actually started school with a pretty brave attitude, and didn’t shed one tear so we were very relieved. He actually told me this week not to come early, because he wanted to stay at school longer, so apparently he no longer needs me and thinks school is way cooler than hanging out with me.
You don’t often see me wearing a long dress, but this one had a fun bohemian feel so I thought it would be a great look with a pair of ankle boots. It’s been such a hot week that fall hasn’t really been around! I thought by now we would have cooler temperatures to match those pumpkin spice lattes, but it’s been hotter than ever. Last night I attended the Nordstrom preview, and I wore a cute dress with my new favorite suede moto jacket, and I have to admit I was a little warm! BUT the outfit was cute, so I suffered through it!
Back to this pretty dress – it’s so light and flowy, and I love that it has tassel details. I thought I wouldn’t see tassels again for a bit after the summer but I think the way it’s detailed on this dress is great way to pull this trend into fall.
I have more transitional fall looks coming, but if it stays this hot I may forgo the layering in my looks!
