Top – Chicwish // Jeans – Frame // Shoes – Valentino // Sunglasses – Prada // Earrings – Charming Charlie
Sometimes the off-the-shoulder trend can be harder to translate into cooler weather, but this top is the perfect way to wear it in fall! This top looked pretty online, and it’s even prettier in person! It fits snugly in the chest area, but then it’s looser in the med section so it’s very comfortable, and easy to wear.
I’ve been waiting to wear these earrings for a long time, and I thought they would pop just right with this black top. I love wearing green earrings because I think the colour is so flattering on any complexion. I always disregard the no white jeans rule after Labour Day, especially since I think they paired perfectly with this look. I keep these Valentino Rockstud Ballet flats on my feet only in perfect weather conditions since they are velvet! SO practical right? Ok, not really, but definitely cute and comfy!
I’ve been fighting allergies combined with a cold over these past few days, and I’m hoping I’m going to wake up tomorrow like my old self. I hate feeling sluggish, and not having any appetite. I had to run into Toronto last night for a quick event, and I couldn’t even bring myself to grab a lobster roll at my favourite spot beside the Eaton Centre (Little Fin) because I just couldn’t eat. My husband is sick as well, and I’m not sure if he’s worse than me, or if it’s just a typical “man cold” where everything stops because he’s sick! Actually, I feel like us ladies could learn from the “man cold” because I probably SHOULD be stopping everything and just stay in bed to recover! Instead I’m trying to do everything I would normally do so I don’t fall behind!
Tomorrow night I’m heading to a fabulous dinner – stay tuned to IG Stories tomorrow night to see where I am! I’ve never been before, and it sounds like it’s going to be amazing!
