Dress – Suzy Shier // Booties – Call it Spring (similar here) // Bag – Chanel
As soon as I saw this gorgeous fall dress at Suzy Shier I headed to the cash register! I was on the hunt for a long flowing maxi dress that I could wear with some cute boots and voila – it appeared. The days are getting colder and colder, but that doesn’t mean I’m ready to give up on dresses.
I love the print on this pretty dress, but I also love the way it flows – it pairs perfectly with boots, and I feel like it would be the perfect day-to-night look. I feel like a wrap dress is flattering on all body types as well, so it’s a perfect fit for anyone looking to switch things up for fall.
This weekend we celebrated our anniversary at the cutest little spot, and when I say little I mean it! The restaurant only seats 10 people at tables, and there are 9 spaces at the bar for walk-in’s, so it’s probably the smallest restaurant I’ve ever eaten in! The food was incredible – we had fresh oysters, cheese, bread, and I had an amazing seafood dish while my husband had lamb. The wine was amazing as well – we are a little lost when it comes to French food and French wine, but we just sort of went with the flow and we loved every sip and bite.
Our weekend also included a really fun Xbox party that we couldn’t miss out on (or I’m pretty sure our son would never speak to us again!), but honestly we had a blast, and the party was very well done! It ended off busy with another morning of hockey and me feeling a little under the weather, but overall we had the best time!
It’s going to be a busy week on the blog so stay tuned for another great fall look, and a really cute recipe idea!
