There are two things I don’t mind investing in – shoes and handbags!
When it comes to clothing I have a few essentials, but for the most part I’m constantly changing my style so I don’t splurge as much as people might think. I’m more of a “fast fashion” kind of gal. The things I invest in the most are on my feet and in my hands!
The accessories that pull my outfits together are always my shoes and handbags, and I love adding them onto my looks as a finishing touch to polish off a look.
My latest handbag? This one is from Voylan – a brand founded right here in Toronto! Voylan handbags are crafted in Italy, and they are made from high quality leather. I love their chic designs – they are timeless and are perfect for a gal on-the-go like I am!
Here’s the thing – when I’m heading into the city I’m often multitasking. I want to head to a few meetings before heading to launches and parties, so I need to dress for both before I head out the door. I usually need a few things like my iPad or laptop, along with my cell phone and possibly my camera as well.
I always have the issue of trying to bring along everything I need, but I’m trying to dress for a party at the same time. This Sydney messenger bag holds everything I need for functionality, but at the same it’s elegant and sophisticated.
Style meets function is often elusive when it comes to handbags, but Volyan definitely bridges the gap! I could see myself bringing this bag onto a flight to hold all of my family passports and electronics, but I’ll still look put together while travelling.
I’m usually more of a tote bag girl, but this messenger bag is so much to wear because I can switch up my style by wearing it as a hobo bag or the classic messenger style. The interior includes a zip pocket for your cell phone, along with an inside padded zip pocket which fits an 11” tablet. There are also lots of zippered pockets, open compartments, and extendable pouches that are perfect to hold everything I need to bring along on my busy days.
The quality of the bag is out of this world, and I love so many of the other Voylan bags that have recently launched as well! It’s nice to know that the brand itself was born in Toronto – close to home!
