This is the time of year I get a little sad every time it snows. I love snow at Christmas, but by the time we get to February and March I’m finished with the cold. At this time of year I usually get sick as well because I’m out running around in dresses and without a winter jacket which probably isn’t the best idea! I can’t help it – I love winter for a moment and then I’m ready for dresses and spring and better weather!

I love shopping at Nordstrom, and the last time I popped in I grabbed a few things for spring including this dress. It’s lined and long sleeved so in my mind I thought I could just pop a jacket over top and it would work for this time of year until it warms up. I picked up a few other bright and spring-like things to make it through this dreary season as well.

We’ve started to look a little into going away this year with the restrictions lifting, but it’s such a nerve-wracking thing to do since we’ve gone through lockdown after lockdown. I think we might go on a trip outside the country this summer finally, but we aren’t going to plan much more than that this year. It’s so funny – before Covid hit we were travelling the most we had ever, but now it’s so much more difficult to figure out testing procedures for different countries, insurance, ect. It sort of takes the fun out of travelling!

I’m working on planning a few fun things for March since it’s going to be March Break, my birthday month, and I already have a spa day planned with my girlfriends! I love having things to look forward to – I think that will help with this blah time of year.

Have a great rest-of-the-week!
