Like most people I do have a black parka, but I LOVE it when I find a great winter coat that is a different colour! I definitely think black is a classic colour, but sometimes when I wear a black winter coat and go out I feel like I’m in a sea of other black winter coats!

This blue Orolay coat is in a colour I don’t have much of anything in which drew me in. Also, I’m a little in love with their coats! They are so light, but so so warm. I have quite a few of them now – one I purchased myself, and a few were gifted from them. They really are great coats because their styles are so cute, but they are incredibly warm too.

I find that I like to invest more in coats because it’s all people see me in most of the time during this season! It’s freezing out, and with all of the outdoor activities and social events we’ve been doing outside it really doesn’t matter what I’m wearing under my coat!

We had a really fun weekend – I headed into Toronto for a girls night on Friday night to Oretta, and Saturday we headed into the city again for dinner, and to see Home Alone with the Toronto Symphony which was amazing. I had always wanted to go, and it did not disappoint. I’ll have a blog post up about our experience at concert later this week!
