Camp Spooky is Back at Canada’s Wonderland

Camp Spooky at Canada's Wonderland

Camp Spooky at Canada’s Wonderland is one of our favorite fall things to do, and we got our first visit in last weekend! Camp Spooky runs every weekend until October 31st, so there is still lot’s time for you to go yourself!

We love visiting Canada’s Wonderland at this time of year because the weather is perfect for a day of running around the park. Canada’s Wonderland is beautiful at this time of year. The décor at the park is so much fun – if you aren’t in the fall spirit yet you will be by the team you leave the park!

Camp Spooky is included with your park admission, and it includes all kinds of events. We took part in the trick-or-treating activity which was very well organized! There are two stations where you can pick up your map and treat bag, and the map give’s kids the chance to practice their navigation skills and find each spot to pick up their treats!

The live PEANUTS gang show – Charlie Brown’s Trick-or-Treat Show – had the characters dressed up for Halloween and was themed perfectly. It played multiple times throughout the day so you have lot’s of chances to catch it during your visit.

The pumpkin decorating station included a spot where you could pick the perfect kids-sized pumpkin at Canyon Trader (near the Flying Canoes ride), a station where you could pick up individual kits for decorating, and there were reserved tables so you could decorate your pumpkin.

Throughout the day we saw friendly Halloween characters that the kids could say hello to and get a photo with, and there was so much more – Spooky Tales with Snoopy, Lucy Van Pelt’s Costume Party where the kids could join a costume parade, Doo Doo the Clown’s Show, and the Dixieland Band that was roaming around.

As a Season Pass holder I did not need to have a reservation, but ticket and single-day ticket holders do need reservations. I highly recommend heading to Camp Spooky for all of the Halloween fun! We loved it so much we are going back a couple more times this year! For more details on Canada’s Wonderland’s Camp Spooky, visit their website here!
