Dress – Nordstrom (similar) // Boots – Jeffrey Campbell // Bag – Chanel // Sunglasses – Prada
For some reason when I get really excited for something new, I tend to wear it less often so I don’t ruin it. I’m trying to break that habit, and I think I will with these shoes. They took me a while to get a hold of – I wanted them at Nordstrom but of course they sold out quickly so I made it my mission to find them. I did end up finding them at the Toronto Eaton Centre Nordstrom, and the moment I had them on my feet I was so happy! Now that I am writing about them it reminds me that I have an event I can wear them to later this week!
I love the idea of wearing these boots as a statement piece with something simple like my white sweater dress (again from Nordstrom but from last year) so they pop, but I think I will wear them next with some contrasting patterns like stripes or florals – or both!
I’ve picked up a couple pairs of pointed toe ankle boots like these, and they are just so comfortable to wear. I feel like my legs look so much better with a pointed toe boot rather than a rounded toe as well so that’s an added bonus!
I’ve just finished up a weekend at the The Rousseau Muskoka this past weekend with a group of girlfriends and I had an amazing time! I literally ate my way through the weekend, which seems to have made Monday that much harder. I can’t wait to share our fun weekend with you! Our group has so much to say about the resort itself, what we wore, and more that we may be sharing a few posts on the weekend. It will be worth the read – I truly can’t wait to get back to that resort. It was so beautiful!
On the blog this week I will be sharing a few holiday-themed posts including what I will be wearing for the holidays, and moving into next week you will start to see some holiday gift guides and giveaways! Plus I have a really exciting announcement about what I will be doing over the holidays to help you with YOUR holiday shopping! Stay tuned!
