Jean Jacket – H&M | Peasant Top – Winners | Jeans – Paradise Mine Aritzia | Boots – Call it Spring | Back Pack – Winners

It’s my second time this week wearing white jeans on the blog, and that’s pretty much all you will see me in for the next couple months.

I love white jeans because they not only go with everything, but I am so sick of wearing winter colours. These one’s from Aritzia are extra stretchy which is great for when you ask for that extra order of guacamole and chips with dinner.

The main pop of colour to this look is this really fun floral backpack I picked up at Winners. I love the colours, and the backpack trend has been an easy one for me to catch onto since I carry about a gazillion things with a toddler running around.

Do you know what isn’t toddler friendly now that I mention it? White jeans! As much as I love them (I’m talking about the jeans, but obviously I love the toddler as well!) these jeans are difficult to wear around children and I normally finish off the day with a messy handprint or shoe print on them. I keep bleach in the laundry room on standby.

I’ve linked to some other fun floral backpacks below as well. Happy shopping!

Review of Cargo Cosmetics Eyebrow Pencil and Brow Kit

imageReview of Cargo Cosmetics Eyebrow Pencil and Brow Kit

I never really knew how important my eyebrows were until I actually grew them!

I had been over plucking my eyebrows my whole life and I really had no idea. Now that I have grown them out, I am slightly obsessed with grooming them.

I have added a few new brow essentials to my makeup bag from Cargo Cosmetics, and they have helped to keep my brow game strong.

First of all I’m kind of in love with the packaging Cargo Cosmetic’s uses. Each piece of makeup has a different black and white watercolour scene of different cities of the world.

I was a girl who didn’t even own an eyebrow pencil until last year, and now I can’t go a day without using one.

The Medium coloured Cargo Eye Brow Pencil was the perfect matching shade for my own brows, and it only needed a light stroke for it to fill in my brows. The pencil is longer than most so I expect it to last a very long time.

The Brow How Brow Defining Kit comes in three different colour combinations, and it included a small compartment with an application brush.

The kit includes a power which fills in and helps define brows, and also a tinted wax which is perfect for setting your brows so they stay put. The wax was amazing and did a great job of setting my brows for the day.

I also got a chance to try out Cargo’s Essential Lip Gloss in Madrid, and the colour had a hint of sparkle, and the gloss had a really moisturizing finish to it.

Thanks to Fashion Weekly Magazine for sending me these lovely Cargo products!

Review of Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

imageReview of Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

I started out this winter thinking that my skin was much less dry then in past seasons, but then the ACTUAL winter weather came, and my skin has been a mess.

My hands have been especially dry because I haven’t been taking the best care of them. I’m also on 24/7 mom-duty so I’m constantly doing dishes, washing toddler hands (because he hasn’t grasped the concept that germs are gross yet), and when I need a quick fix of hand cream I normally reach for something that smells good and doesn’t promise anything beyond a moment of hydration and a bit of scent.

I can honestly say that Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula Hand Cream is different than any other hand cream I have ever tried. I have never experienced this kind of instant hydration. I had a moment of beauty-geek excitedness, yelling to the only other adult home (my hubby) that he needed to try this stuff right away!

It has a gel-like consistency, but once you rub it in it seems to seep into every crevice of your hands and you are instantly moisturized. I seriously want to stand on a street corner and squeeze this stuff into the palms of strangers so they can see how hydrating this cream really is!

It’s dermatologist tested, and claims to provide 17-hour hydration for rough, dry hands, which I believe this to be true.

The packaging is simple, and it comes in a great 50ml tube which you can easily throw into your purse and go. The hand cream is unscented, and it really does have lasting effects. Once applied I didn’t feel like my hands were greasy at all. I found that even after I washed and dried my hands (which is usually a trigger for my hands to dry out) that they were less dry then usual since using the cream.

This hand cream works! The price is very affordable at only $6.99 CDN, especially considering how amazing this cream is.

Dry hands? Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream is a must-try. You can purchase it at most national food, drug, and mass merchandisers.

I’m a girl that spends so much time getting dressed up for events that it makes me really appreciate those times when I can have a much more casual look. When I dress casual, I still want to look put together and a little stylish, all while being comfortable at same time.

la Vie en Rose has the perfect solution for me since they have released a capsule collection called la Vie en Lounge with 12 versatile styles you can mix and match. Not only do the pieces look stylish, but they are so comfortable!

I truly loved this striped sweatshirt – it had an amazing stretch to it, and I probably commented at least 3 or 4 times that day how cozy it was. My leggings were just as soft and comfortable, and I loved that they were not just one size fits all, but I could choose my own size so they were the perfect fit.

The collection is super affordable with pieces ranging from only $16.95 and $45.95, and you can shop the whole collection online and in stores.

I loved this casual, easy look because I could go about my Saturday running around town feeling comfortable, but still looking put together and stylish.

For more information on la Vie en Lounge, or to shop collection yourself visit www.lavieenrose.com!

Jacket – H&M (in stores now, similar online here) | Tank Top – H&M | Suede Skirt – H&M | Heels – Kate & Mel (Town Shoes) | Bag – Chanel

I’m so glad I chose this outfit for Wednesday night’s Toronto Fashion Week shows because I absolutely needed a warm jacket! I think the hardest part about Fashion Week (not that there is really “hard part”) is dressing for the Canadian weather. It seems to always be snowing, raining, or just generally cold!

I love a good white jacket, and this lovely one from H&M was just marked down from $80 to $40 so it was a steal! It has an open front with no buttons or a zipper which was perfect to wear as more of an accessory to my outfit than to just bundle up.

I’m sure you are starting to see these button-up skirts everywhere as of late, and my favourite version is this suede one (although I’m sure I will buy a few more in different fabrics for summer). I actually had a hard time finding the right top to go with it so I kept it simple with a tank, especially since I was planning on wearing my jacket all night. Of course, later I found the perfect top, but that’s fine because I’m sure I will be wearing this skirt again next week.

I’ve been wearing these comfy heels over the last month and they were a great purchase since they are neutral and go with everything. Nude shoes really are an investment piece, so don’t feel bad about splurging on a pair because they will get more than enough wear.

Hope you are having a great week!
