A Healthy Tan with Bioderma Photoderm Self-Tanner

A Healthy Tan with Bioderma Photoderm Self-Tanner

Years ago I was that girl who would bake in the sun – no shade, no sunscreen, not worrying about a burn because it would turn into a golden tan later.

Things have changed and I’ve realized how completely crazy that whole idea was, so now you will find me taking breaks in the shade and lathering on sunscreen.

Another perfect alternative (and a much healthier one) is using a self-tanner. I was never really a big fan of self-tanner since my first experience had me with orange splotches on my skin, clothing, and any other surface I touched.

Fast-forward to last week when I tried Bioderma’s Photoderm Self-Tanner, and I realized what I was truly missing all of this time!

This amazing little can contains a moisturizing self-tanner that you really have no chance of messing up. The spray from the can is more like a mist, and it evenly distributed onto my skin adding a nice glow.

The mist dried almost instantly and I can tell you there was ZERO transfer onto my clothing! This had me pretty happy – my skin was dry in seconds. The instructions indicated that to get a tanned look I should mist myself once a day for three days, and then once every two days. I felt like I had enough colour after two days of misting, and then I went ahead and re-applied once every two days. The results were pretty amazing, and my skin looked evenly tanned and felt moisturized.

The spray is also paraben free, alcohol free, and hypoallergenic. You can learn more details about my new favourite self-tanner here!

Sandals – Tory Burch | Tassel Clutch – Marshalls | Embroidered Shorts – Marshalls | Tassel Earrings – H&M | White Tank – Turquoise Boutiques

How amazing is this pompom bag? I have been looking for some fun clothing and accessories with pompoms on them, and once I came across this bag I had to have it. It was only $12.99 from Marshalls which was a total steal since I was looking online at similar ones around the $75 mark!

I’ve had a tough time finding jean shorts I love that are an appropriate length (so the mom’s on the playground don’t gossip about me) and unfortunately still no luck on that front, but these embroidered shorts were a total win – again from Marshalls. They even had a tassel detail on the drawstring so I was totally in love with them.

My tassel earrings are from H&M which is where all of the good tassel earrings are from these days, and my Tory Burch Miller sandals are the perfect shade to go with everything this summer!

These Miller sandals will be my go-to all summer. They are on everyone’s summer essential guide’s this year for good reason – they are a classic sandal and I purchased them in the perfect neutral colour.

I’ve added a few more of my favourite pompom bags, embroidered shorts, and a link to my sandals below as well.

I hope you are having a great week so far!

Romper – TOBI | Necklace – Shop the Exhibit | Shoes – Town Shoes | Market Bag – Penney & Co

I couldn’t believe my luck when this TOBI romper fit so well when it arrived at my door. When you order something online it’s so hard to tell if it will fit – especially if it’s a romper! This one had a great fit, and I loved how light the fabric was as well.

It’s been so hot and humid here lately so the lighter my outfits are the better. I decided to keep things neutral to match my romper including my shoes, and my market bag.

We’re a little under the weather here today (my son is a little sick, and I’m fighting it off), but we are hoping tomorrow will be just as beautiful so we can enjoy the weather outside!

Did you know that new TOBI customers get 50% off their first order? Get ready for a new season with their selection of earrings, booties, high waisted jeans, evening dresses, trench coats and boyfriend jeans.

Happy Saturday!

Dress – TOBI | Sunglasses – Dior | Purse – Chanel | Earrings – Chanel | Shoes – Town Shoes

Who needs a little black dress when you can have a little white dress? The fit of this sheer panel dress was so perfect it surprised me. Normally I have most of my clothing tweaked by a seamstress because I can never seem to buy the perfect fit. This dress needed no alterations, which I was pretty happy about.

I haven’t worn the sheer panel trend at all yet, but I really loved that it made this dress so much more interesting! I thought it would be a bit more scandalous to wear, but the hem of the dress made the panel placement easier to wear.

Fit and flare is my favourite style of dress, so I felt like it was a flattering look overall. I paired the dress with my Chanel flap bag and Chanel double C earrings, and included my Dior sunnies that I’ve had on repeat all spring.

Tobi offers new customers 50% off their first order! They have so much more to shop including Boyfriend Jeans, Trench Coats, Harem Pants, Booties, Earrings, and Evening Dresses.
