Earlier in the year I took advantage of the styling appointments Jean Machine offers to their customers with one of their Masters of Denim. Last week I visited the new Oshawa Centre Jean Machine, and I not only grabbed the perfect pair of jeans, but a whole look from the store.
It’s fall so most of my looks have included lots of layers, and this look definitely has that!
Starting off with my denim, I was surprised with the brand I ended up choosing! I haven’t purchased a pair of Guess jeans in quite a while, but now I think I’m hooked.
This pair of skinny jeans have a great dark wash, and lots of stretch. I actually bought a full size smaller than I usually would because of the stretch these jeans have. They have a great cuff when they are rolled up as well so they look great with boots!
Next up I picked up the coziest top I think I have ever warn. The brand is Promesa and the material is so soft – it’s pretty much the most comfortable shirt I own.
The team at Jean Machine was raving over their line of tops from Promesa, and they were totally right – this top was a must-have! I loved the deep green colour, and the asymmetrical cut makes the top a bit more interesting as well.
I added this great poncho in a deep navy blue which is belted so it can also be wrapped around for a different look, but in this case I left it open so I could add the prettiest of blanket scarves! I love the red in this plaid pattern – it’s a contrast to the beige pattern we saw everywhere last year, and it adds a nice pop to this look.
Removing layers creates a whole new look, so really I put together three looks in one.
If you haven’t yet, you need to meet with one of the Master’s of Denim at a Jean Machine store because in my experience they really opened my eyes to brands I hadn’t tried, and made some great suggestions to help me put my looks together!
