We’ve spent the week doing some touristy things in our area! We did our annual trip to Niagara Falls where we went on the Hornblower Cruise to see the falls up close, ate lots of candy, played games, and did some mini putt – the usual Niagara Falls stuff! Later this week we are headed in the other direction to Prince Edward County for some good food and wine tasting! With only a month left until back-to-school we are starting to check everything off of our list that we wanted to do this summer!
I can’t believe it, but there are only 60 days until our big Disney trip! I’m not ready! There is so much more I need to do to prepare! I’m a bit more prepared for our Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard trip, but to be honest I haven’t really gotten organized for that one either! I still need to rent a car, and book our ferries to the island for Martha’s Vineyard, and for Disney the list is so huge I can’t even write it here. So, I need to get my life together!
My son has been happy enough this summer not to ask when he’s heading back-to-school so that’s an accomplishment! This year we only put him in one week of summer camp so we’ve been together almost every day which will make September that much harder.
While I write this I’m waiting for a reservation to load for the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge restaurant (it looks like there will be three), and I’m hoping I get something for our trip in October! We are so excited to see everything once it’s open! The big day that it open’s in Florida is August 29th, and we don’t travel until early October so hopefully things will slow down a bit by the time we get there!
