Fall is my favourite season! I thought it would be fun to refresh my space living to look a bit more warm and inviting for the Thanksgiving dinners I’m hosting this weekend.
I chose Giant Tiger to help me transform my space on a budget, and I can’t believe some of my decorating finds! I found everything I was looking for, and because the price points were so great I was able to do everything I planned and more!
First up – let’s get cozy!
Who doesn’t love cozying up on the couch with fluffy pillows and oversized throws?
Giant Tiger had the perfect sets of pillows and matching throws for only $20. I added the pillows and throws to my existing decor to give it an ultra-luxe feel.
Fall means pumpkin and apple spiced everything right? I picked up these yummy Apple Spiced Scones and Apple Crumble mini Cupcakes to serve my guests this weekend. Will they make it to the weekend after my hubby sees them? Probably not, but at $3.99 I can easily pick up more.
These Mason Jar Candles were my favourite find for the room. At only $6.00 they were a steal, and they add a bit of fall colour to my tray.
What she more cozy than furry slippers? Not only do they match the decor (styling win!), but I love that they are boots for maximum cozy with a shiny embellishment. These Quilted Booties were only $17.00!
I think the fireplace mantel is the perfect spot to showcase a new season or holiday.
I always love changing this particular spot in the room because it is what your eye is drawn to first in the room.
This Oil Canvas ($29.00) had the perfect fall scene with all of the colours I wanted to bring into the room. I paired it with this pretty Photo Frame ($6.00) which I added a fall-themed photo of us to, and a Thatch Storage Basket ($7.00) filled with scented Mason Jar Candles ($7.00).
It’s a very simple mantle, but the canvas paired with our fall photo and seasonal candles in a basket have added so much to the room.
I keep a wooden box of throws near the fireplace, and I decided to add an extra one because I thought this plaid Fur Throw ($20.00) was a cozy addition to the fireplace.
I added a touch more of a seasonal flare to different corners with candles so not only did the room look refreshed for fall, but it had the scent of it as well!
With very little time spent and lots of money saved I created a cozy fall feel in this room, and now I’m ready for the holidays!
