I blinked and it was the end of September! I can’t believe this month flew by the way it did. I suppose I’m ahead of the game since I’ve already gone apple picking and this weekend we are spending the day at a local farm, but it still seems like fall is already passing me by. And today is only the official first day of fall!

Life feels like it’s slowed down quite a bit after the summer, but I’m not sure it really has. My son has been playing soccer 3 days a week (this week 4 times!), and I’ve been playing twice a week, and adding in back to school technically makes things busier, but for some reason it doesn’t feel that way. I suppose things feel slower because I’ve personally been spending more time at home – and alone at that!) which makes things seem – literally – quiet.

Last week I was frozen for most of the week with the weather turning cold, but this week things have warmed up again in a confusing turn of events.

This dress is perfect for the weather since it has long sleeves, and I could easily throw on a jacket and go!

This weekend is my husband and I’s wedding anniversary, and this might just be the look I’m wearing to dinner!

We are all here trying to not be stressed about the COVID numbers increasing and are just trying to enjoy what we can of the fall right now. It’s nice that some of the farms are offering booked times for things like apple picking, so we will do our part and distance but will try to do our usual traditions in the meantime!
