Summertime calls for doing as much as possible in the beautiful weather outdoors, and with that in mind I got together with some of my favourite bloggers to have a little garden party in the park!
We all selected outfits from one of our favourite shopping destinations – Mapleview Centre – and it was so fun to see what looks we all put together for a garden party.
Lace, champagne and blush are some of the pretty palettes we are seeing everywhere this summer, and it was an easy trend to shop at Mapleview Centre because virtually every store had something that would fit the theme. I love shopping there to put an outfit together!
What’s a garden party without a floral crown? We all thought they were essential, and whether they were chic and simple, or overflowing with fresh blooms like mine (hello peonies!) they all seemed to suit our personalities.
My eyelet dress from BCBG was fun and flirty for a girls day out. I love the style of this dress because it’s so flattering and easy to wear for any shape or size.
Lately I’ve been loving the cute heels that Call it Spring have had to offer, and these nude stillettos are the perfect summer accessory.
Keeping it simple with an envelope clutch from Forever 21 not only kept my budget in check, but also kept the focus on my dress and floral crown.
We had a fabulous time at our little soiree, and to see where my other Garden Party Bloggers found their outfits – click through to their blog posts (Renee M. LeBlanc / The Minted Mama / Ella Pretty Blog / Nelle Creations)
Now for the really exciting part – an amazing contest hosted by yours truly and the rest of the Garden Party Bloggers!
