There is quite the list of things you need when your child start school in the fall, and one of the major ones is indoor shoes.
With my little guy starting Jr. Kindergarten this year, one of the major things I needed to make sure he could handle is having shoes he could put on and take off himself. Velcro is always a good way to go, but earlier in the year we received our first Freshly Picked hard sole shoes, and these were shoes he was proud to be able to slip on and slip off!
Of course later in the year his shoe size has changed (more then once – do they ever stop growing?!) and to celebrate the start of a new year we picked out these flashy gold hard sole shoes from Freshly Picked.
Seriously, what’s more stylish than gold shoes? My son loves them, and he’s so proud that he can put them on and take them off all by himself! It’s actually really hard to find cool kids shoes, so I love shopping the Freshly Picked site to see what cool new styles they have.
I’m really hoping these one’s last him a long time because they are super cool looking, and with his last pair of Freshly Picked shoes the issue was that he grew – not that he wore them out which was nice! I hate buying shoes that don’t last long because of wear and tear. With his Freshly Picked shoes there were no signs of wear at all – they really were built to last.
I can’t wait to figure out what he is wearing on his first day of school! That is if he let’s me decide. At least we have the indoor shoes figured out.
