I know now that it’s September and we all want to run into the pumpkin patch with our PSL in hand wearing a cozy cardigan, but the reality is that it’s still hot outside!

With that little bit of summer left I’m still holding onto my no-pants rule, and I’m wearing all of the skirts and dresses I have left!

Yes I’m so ready to start layering, but with this heat I can’t make it happen so I’m clutching my straw bags until the temperature drops.

I think straw bags are definitely the one thing I can’t take into the colder weather, but I’m happy to throw a jean jacket over a look like this one!

I love this pretty skirt – I bought a couple with this ruffle-style over the summer, and I know they look better with a heel but I wear flip flops whenever I can!

There are a few more of my favourite styles like my skirt that you could bring into fall here, here and here!

How was everyone’s fist day of school? My son was SO excited to see his friends and get into his new classroom. We had play dates with a few of his school friends so he stayed connected, but he was very excited for recess with his friends!

I worked hard on that first day of school lunch, but check back in with me in a couple months and let’s see how downhill they go!
