Our son spend’s one week a summer in camp, and I actually feel a little lost this week now that he’s there! I felt so bad as he left me on Monday – he on the other hand was SO excited. I was the sad one being like is that the only hug I get?
Don’t get me wrong, I have lot’s to do – I just already miss having him around. I guess that means the first day of school will be a little teary for me.
I read two amazing books over the last two weeks and I highly recommend them – the first was The Last Mrs. Parrish, and the other one was From the Corner of the Oval. Both were so good – if you need a summer read you have to check these out!
About this pretty little dress – I LOVE the ruffles! It’s a great summer dress because there is so much air flow – it’s been so hot and humid and a dress like this is perfect for that kind of weather! I hate wearing anything tight in the summer because everything seems to stick to you – not the best feeling.
Although I’m sticking to my summer wardrobe for now, I’ve been stocking up on big cozy sweaters for fall. I LOVE fall and can’t wait to wear comfy jeans and sweaters. Fall is my favourite – we head to a different farm almost every weekend and it’s so much fun! I can’t wait!
