The only thing that has been running through my head this week is Christmas gifts!
What am I going to buy? Who am I going to buy it for? Will they really love this? I feel like I’m running out of time, but that’s why I’m so glad I turned to Staples for some of my personalized holiday gifts.
I’ve used Staples in the past for things like personalized business cards, invitations, printing services, and regular shopping adventures, but I had never tried their personalized photo gifts before. I had trying ordering gifts like this from other retailers, but they actually fell flat in the quality department.
I was practically ecstatic when my order was ready for pick up because everything turned out better than I could imagine!
I headed to StaplesCopyandPrint.ca to create an order, and my first step was to upload the photos I would work with so I could select the gifts I would create. The upload was quick and easy, and then I was ready to start creating my gifts.
What I loved about this process was the fact that I could easily choose to customize my gifts. Although my photo was uploaded, I could an in and out of the image, or move it around so everything fit the way I wanted it.
The perfect example of this was when I created these custom oval ornaments ornaments. First of all I love this idea as a gift! We had the perfect black and white photo of my son to use, and I panned the image down so where the ornament was hung was in the perfect spot.
The whole collection of gifts I put together is so special!
I decided another fun gift would be a key chain with my son’s photo on them, and again I was able to pan the image so it fit perfectly. The key chain is so nice! The silver seems very durable, and I love the final product.
I also had a canvas made which I decided I wanted to keep for ourselves. I may have wanted to give this away to someone, but after seeing it in person I decided I had to keep it! It turned out so well, and this ended up being the perfect shot to use for the canvas. This would make an amazing gift for the grandparents, but sorry, I just can’t give this one away! This is the Full Wrap Canvas in size 14 x 14.
I also created a few more items that were unique. I ordered an iPad case as a gift for a family member, and not only did the photo print out perfectly, but the case also looks ultra-durable! I thought this would be a really fun gift which doubles as a gadget case with a practical purpose. They had many other options as well for different tech cases.
The 17oz Latte Photo Mug was just one of those gifts I knew someone on my list would love. How can you create personalized gifts and not get a classic mug with your child’s photo on it? It seems like something I had to do, and I’m so glad I did because it’s an adorable gift.
