Have you ever had a weekend so crazy you actually looked forward to a boring Monday? That was me today – I was kind of all over the place this weekend so I was ready to get back to my boring life! My weekdays are so much more mundane than my weekends so I think I actually recharge more then.
March Break starts Friday for us in Canada, and my son is pretty excited to have a week off! I’ll have to take him to this cute little cafe I visited last week called M & R Cakes and Cafe – their hot chocolate is SO good! They even make their own marshmallows which is pretty impressive. I sampled some of their Macaron’s and they were amazing! I can’t wait to go there for lunch – I saw other people eating and it looked really good.
This time of year is so hard because I want to be wearing florals, but it’s still frigid outside. This sweater from Guess is perfect for transitioning into a new season because it has these gorgeous embroidered flowers that keep my look bright and spring-like, but I was still warm and cozy. The hot chocolate might of helped as well!
My Guess Low-Rise Skinny jeans are the perfect fit – with Guess I tend to go down a size because of the stretch their jeans have, but they really do fit me so well.
I’m so sick of boots that I’ve been trying to bring my slides out more often. It’s still SO chilly out, but depending on where I’ve been going I’ve been wearing them. I know a great ankle boot would also look good with this look, but I was so happy to finally switch it up a bit.
With Easter coming I’ve really been into brightening up my home and my wardrobe! I have fresh flowers all over the house, and I’ve been updating with some small decor touches, and of course my wardrobe is slowly being updated as well! Stay tuned this week and next for a few more cute looks for spring!
