My Favourite Home Workout Videos

Things have really changed since my last blog post only a week ago! I knew we would be home on self-quarantine for a bit, but it’s looking like this will be the new normal for quite a bit longer.

The thing I’ve been trying to focus on is staying positive, and creating a new normal for myself and my family!

I’ve definitely worked in structure for my son with a schedule each day, but it includes a lot of fun as well! Today we downloaded App that my son can use to chat with his friends and he is loving it so far.

We have both been doing home workouts each morning (my son loves kids yoga), and I’ve been doing it with him along with a few other short workouts as well.

I thought I would share a few of my favourites from YouTube and from some local studios as well!

Power Yoga Canada is running a livestream straight from their Facebook page here!

I LOVE the MadFit workout videos! I usually do more than one at once – I try to choose a 15 or 20 minute workout first and pair a shorter one later. They are quick, efficient, and right to the point!

Blogilates is so popular, and there is definitely a reason! There is much more to the channel than workouts like grocery shopping videos, recipes and bathing suit try-on’s. It has a huge number of workout videos that is almost overwhelming.

My gym is LifeTime Fitness in Ajax, and they are offering free online classes right now! They have multiple classes under Yoga, Strength and Cardio. I love the classes at LifeTime, so this has been awesome to have access to at home!

PopSugar Fitness has all kinds of workouts that normally stick to a 30 minute timeline. They have started a paid service as well with workout classes by celebrities called Active by PopSugar, but the free videos are pretty awesome.

Pamela Reif’s YouTube workouts are awesome! There isn’t a lot of talking – she just gets right down to the workout!

Tone it Up has some great workouts put on by their team, and they even have an App so you can take your workouts on-the-go!

Have a great workout!
