It’s finally finished! I have been so excited to share my new bedroom on the blog because it’s really become my happy place. I find it such a relaxing space now. My son commented that it looks like a hotel room, which really shows you the contrast from the before and after!
To see my before and in-process photos you can head to this blog post here!
I teamed up with Wayfair on this project and I couldn’t be happier with every item we ordered and installed!
I have to say I was very excited to see my bedside tables on The Real Housewives of New Jersey last week in Melissa’s shore house! I think these bedside tables were my favourite purchase for the room. I just adore them, and when they arrived they looked as good in person as they did online! They are called the Westerleigh 1 – Drawer Nightstand and these nightstands actually come in different colours as well. The gold accents are my favourite part.
As I mentioned in my last post, it all started with a new bed. I wanted a new bed to update our bedroom, and this is the bed that we chose – the Aadvik Tufted Upholstered Low Profile Standard Bed.
What I love about Wayfair is the reviews! It’s so helpful to not only read reviews, but to see furniture in other people’s houses! I read all of the reviews and looked at all of the photos and decided on this bed, and it ended up being the perfect choice.
I couldn’t resist this duvet cover for one simple reason – the pom poms. It’s just the cutest set, and it came with the duet cover and two pillow shams (trimmed with pom poms as well of course)).
I love the quality of the set! I purchased a duvet here as this is a decorative duvet cover – we actually have the duvet we sleep with under this layer.
I was very impressed with the quality of this set, and I love that we made it a decorative duvet so the bed is extra comfy with two of them on it. The duvet is called the Montgomery Cotton 3 Piece Duvet Cover Set.
I did a little Instagram Stories poll on what chair I should choose for this space, and this is actually the chair that lost!
The other options were grey, navy and pink, and the emerald green came in last! Hardly anyone voted for this chair, and I still decided to buy it because I own nothing in this colour and I felt like I needed it. I wasn’t sure if it would fit in, but I think it’s the perfect pop of colour!
I love the gold accents, and it’s actually quite comfortable! It’s called the Everly Quinn Poynor 26″ Wide Tufted Velvet Armchair, and it’s perfection.
My lamps! These lamps are a dream. They actually had a few pineapple options on the Wayfair website, but these one’s were the biggest of all! I wanted to make sure that they were a classic design, and very sturdy. That is exactly what I got from these lamps – they are so well made, and absolutely gorgeous.
My husband chose the light (this style of light is called a sputnik), and this particular one came from here. It was a great price, and after he added a dimmer I was really happy about it.
A few other things to note – we already had the three square pillows but I changed out the shams with these, and I have to tell you it’s pretty satisfying to “chop” them each morning!
We had a bit of a disaster with the art work unfortunately, but it all turned out for the best. I had chosen a set that was delayed over and over and once they arrived I realized I ordered in CM, not inches. HUGE issues.
Those (expensive) pictures were left by the wayside, but I found these instead and I actually adore them! We thought of wrapping things up without prints, but it turns out these were waiting for me, and we love them.
That’s it! Our Metrie doors were already installed luckily, although I was hoping to add this style to our closet and bathroom but it’s not being made anymore. I’m so glad we have the Metrie doors that I do because they are incredible looking!
Thank you to Tara Graham Photography for shooting everything, and thank you to Wayfair for collaborating with me on this project!
Items in this post may have been provided to me for review, but all opinions are fabulously my own.
