Dress – Pink Blush // Shoes – Nine West (similar) // Bag – Saks OFF 5TH (similar)
The first thing that came to mind when this dress arrived at my door was “flowy”!
Is that a real word? My spell check doesn’t think so, but I think it describes the look and feel of this dress perfectly.
Florals and pleats are so feminine, and I couldn’t resist pairing my straw bag with this look for an ultra girly look.
The light belt gives me a bit more shape with the maxi style of this dress, and it was one of many from Pink Blush that I had a hard time choosing between.
Sometimes in the summer I get a little bored of cocktail length dresses, so this long and flowing dress is a nice change. I feel like I should be attending a garden party in this look, but really I’ll be wearing it to shop, run errands, and for lunches with girlfriends.
I just finished up a super fun weekend in Toronto with some of my blogger girlfriends, and we had so much fun! Check out the hashtag #UltimateGirlsWeekendTO to see some of the details on social media, but we will have a few posts coming with details on what we got up to!
At the end of the weekend I was totally wiped! I love going away for the weekend, but I always find myself wishing I had another recovery day whenever I get home. Monday came too fast, that’s for sure. By the time I got home Sunday I had a soccer final (we lost), and then I had zero groceries in the house so I had to run out to grab some basics, and spent the evening on the couch. With next weekend being Mother’s Day I’m sure it will be another busy couple of days!
